The Spiti RSP was organised by ARCUS – a group of Architects as a documentation Workshop in the summer of 2022. Around 29 students of Sal School of Architecture had taken part in the workshop.

During the workshop the students learned how to actually measure draw a settlement on a steep terrain. They also measure drew single houses and studied their constructional details.

As the documentation workshop was limited only to Dhankhar village in Spiti Valley, so the rest of the days the students visited many other places in Himachal Pradesh.

Their trip started with stay in Manali and visits to Vashisth Valley, Jogini Waterfalls, Nagar Castle, Hidimba devi Temple. Then the group left for documentation in Dhankhar village. After the workshop they left for Sarahan and Shimla.
