Professor Nigam Oza joined teaching and academics in architecture after working on various housing and commercial projects with a team of architects based in Ahmedabad. His area of interests are research and writing on history and its relevance in modern & contextual architecture for changing urbanism. He has worked for Ministry of Urban Development and Indian Heritage Cities Network Foundation for tourism and rejuvenation projects at Badami in Karnataka.

He is a graduate from The M S University of Baroda and specializes in urban and regional planning. He believes as an architect and as an academician one should constantly be well informed and updated to study the growing trends and necessities within the AEC industry both locally as well as globally.
